Hon. Ex-MLA, Late Shri. Yashwant Eknath Patil (Dada) and their colleagues played pivotal role in the establishment of Yashawant Ayurvedic College, Kodoli in 1989 with an aim of providing facility to the students belonging to middle class families. Under the valuable guidance of Late. Shri. Pradeep Yashawant Patil (Baba), this institute also started Post Graduation Training & Research Centre in 2006.

Since incorporation of the Mahavidyalaya and attached hospital, both have been successfully run keeping the moral values to serve the human kind with love and affection. Now, the Mahavidyala is taking new steps to meet the global standards with the 3rd generation of the Patil family with the young & dynamic Hon. Dr. Jayant Pradeep Patil (Administrator) & by Hon. Shri Vasant Dinakar Patil (Daji).

Our National Health Policy also gives more stress on prevention & promotion of health of people.  Present life style of people gives cause to mental stress more than physical stress. Human being day by day is going away from natural to artificial very rapidly which result into more stress diseases. The only solution for this is Ayurveda.

We have a qualified fulfilled teaching staff for department having approved P.G and PhD Guide and also well equipped museum is available. Department fulfills norms of C.C.I.M. New Delhi.
